A painter touches the surface thousands of times with his brush. Although the aim is to reproduce the touch in the same way, no trace is the same as another. The touches merge into each other, forming a color slide, vibrating and breathing, a sensation of immateriality. The purpose of the method was to find a meditative way of painting, where the structure of the image (subject, composition, creating the illusion of reality) is not essential, but only touch and its mantra-like repetition.
